Painted from a ref photo. Danure Castle is on the SW coast of Scotland, about 10 miles down from Ayr and really, its worth the trip if you are in the area. I really have to try to get this one into the game somewhere as I visited it so often whilst my wife was pregnant and then I took my daughter to it very soon after she was born, just before I left Scotland so I attach a lot of significance to the place as a result.

It's views are perhaps only rivalled by Dunskey castle in Portpatrick, certainly, of the castles I've visited, its commanding views over the 'sleeping giant' are unforgettable.
