I'd decided to begin on the idea of Cythraul at this point. Much like the character, the idea wasn't fully in focus yet but I had a sense of beginning some sort of journey which I knew already required the Fomorians to begin their journey down from the icy northern wastelands into Tuatha De Danaan / Tir Nan Og (The children of Danu / The land of the young ).

I knew that whatever lay ahead would be filled with bloodshed and battles worthy of heroes, but I had little idea of the shape these battles would take or how they would be populated beyond the broad stroke idea of the Fomorians vs the Celts to the tone of genocide.
