Stranraer - The Wall

Stranraer (Scotland) is where I spent most of my time growing up (17 years). As a Result of this I know MANY
great photogenic areas around it that I have photographed and updating here later. Below are mostly shots of a
location we affectionatly nicknamed 'The Wall' in ode to Pink Floyd. Anytime I return to Stranraer, I still visit
this place each time due to nostalgia and the fact that it overlooks the whole town and the harbour.

The Wall itself used to be used by the nearby Military base as target practise for the RAF before their planes
switched to an electronic targetting system a few years back. Due to the wall taking so many years of punishment
it has some of the most thorough blast damage I have seen. Due to the climate and damp conditions this blast
damage is particularily impressive and eye catching.
